Cultivation is about changing your mindset, transforming your attitude, and changing your thoughts and desires. When you have this "good desire" and see everything as good, you are serving others! When you have a mindset of serving others in life and treat people with kindness, you are cultivating yourself in your daily life.

In general, when we do anything—whether it's running a business, going to work, driving, or whatever industry we're in—we should think of it all as serving others. If we approach it with the mindset of providing service, then we are unconsciously cultivating ourselves and starting to accumulate merit.

Of course! Making money is definitely a must, but making money is one thing, and the mindset is to change it to: I am serving this group of people and this community, and it is necessary to earn some legitimate and reasonable profits! Because people need to survive, eat, use, support their families, and take care of all aspects of life, so these are all necessary!

Earning money to make a living is the right thing to do, but it's all about changing your mindset. You're earning money and doing the same thing, right? But just by changing your perspective, it's a simple change of mindset, and your state of mind and feelings will be different.

Your feeling then becomes: what I'm doing is legal and legitimate; I'm serving people, there's a need, and I do it when there is. After doing it, people pay us, and everyone benefits; making a profit in business is also correct. And our goal is to serve people, right? Not just to make money for the sake of making money!

For example, let's say I'm selling noodles. Selling noodles is simple. I cook the noodles, and the customers will be happy and satisfied, which also solves their hunger. It's a legitimate business, and it's right for us to receive the money. But if you think, "As long as the goods are sold! Give me the money! My goal is to sell you things and make money!" then that's the typical person's thinking.

The average person thinks that they do things to make a living, but if you do things to make a living, then it's different. If you do things to provide service, then it's different again. If you do things to provide service, then you want to do them well, so that people feel good and satisfied.

A service-oriented mindset means that no matter how big or small the task, I want to do it well and make people satisfied. For example, if I'm just selling a piece of fruit, I'll put my heart and time into finding the best quality fruit, which will naturally command a higher price. That's the right approach! Because we choose better quality fruit, the price is higher, and we put our heart into the process and the sale.

For example, if we buy inferior goods and then buy a large quantity of them all at once, our costs are lower, so we can sell them at a lower price, which is perfectly reasonable! I adjust my mindset: "When I'm selecting goods for customers, I'm trying to serve them! I bring these goods so that those who need them can buy them, and everyone can make them." Having this mindset of serving others in all aspects of life is a form of spiritual practice in daily life.

During cultivation, it's merely a shift in mindset, a change in feelings, and so on. When the mindset for cultivation is different, all thoughts and ideas about the spiritual realm will connect with the spiritual realm more deeply and be more elevated. This is because one has always had a compassionate heart, always serving others and all aspects of life. Oh! When all these things happen in this way, it's an invisible form of cultivation; that's how cultivation is done.

In daily life, to talk about spiritual practice is a profound subject. Spiritual practice involves changing your mindset, transforming your perspective, and adjusting your thoughts and intentions. When you have positive thoughts, when you see everything as good, when you are serving others, when you have a mindset of serving the community, then you are on the right track!

Otherwise, if you, as a human being, think about and view everything from a pessimistic and sorrowful perspective, you're still just living your life, just passing the day. It will only harm your body and your bodily functions, diminishing your potential and hindering your spiritual practice; in fact, it will cause you to regress. This is because your mind is preoccupied with sadness and sorrow, resulting in a lower spiritual level.

In the higher realms of the spirit world, happy, charitable, and kind-hearted people tend to congregate. Lower realms, on the other hand, are more often inhabited by sad, troubled, and jealous individuals; such people are more likely to congregate there. Therefore, since you are living as a human being and doing the same thing, wouldn't it be better to try to think of it with a positive mindset?

You're doing the same thing, right? Just think of it as genuinely serving people! Of course, while you're serving people, you're also earning money. Think of it as earning money, and that's the same thing, right? So, if you change your mindset, you're practicing spiritual cultivation in your daily life—a good practice. That's excellent!

Service and spiritual practice—this is a good practice, and there is much to learn about it. People in all walks of life are "practicing" in their daily lives. When you cultivate a good mindset, you should seize every opportunity to help others; this is practicing spirituality in your daily life.

Homepage > Immortal's Teachings > Wise Teachers > Service and Practice In language, "in practice" means [...]

[7

post-5951","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-7
["GET
