I. Origin
In July 1997, I went to mainland China with a group of fellow Feng Shui practitioners to conduct outdoor teaching activities. It took about two or three minutes for it to stop.

II. Learning the Exercises
Time flies. Every morning I did the Yuanji Dance exercise, and another year passed. III. Seclusion and the Study of Longevity
In May 2000, with the aim of promoting Yuanji, benefiting society, and bringing health to everyone, I went to the south alone.KaohsiungI wish to teach the Yuanji Kung Fu and Yuanji Dance. One day I moved into...KaohsiungQishanTrue Heaven PalaceI intended to stay for three days to review my Yuanji (a form of spiritual cultivation), but that night, while I was half asleep, I found myself repeatedly pressing and massaging acupoints on my body with my hands for about an hour before stopping. After a few minutes, I felt very comfortable all over, and someone said to me, "Seeing illness is not illness, illness is real, and real illness starts with your hands and is eliminated with your hands," and "Learning without teaching others is like tying bean vines with a rope." They wanted me to use my knowledge in seclusion to serve society and do work to save the world.
During the retreat, each person experienced different transformations, received instruction in techniques, listened to teachings, and practiced mental methods. At the beginning, they couldn't understand any of the language. After twenty days, they gradually learned to speak standard Taiwanese and Mandarin, which is commonly known as the innate language or Buddhist language. After thirty days of quiet meditation, reflection, instruction, contemplation, breath control, and a solitary life, they finally came to understand what Qi and spiritual energy are.
It turns out I used to be inTemple of Heaven, Beijing, ChinaWhat one obtains is the true energy of heaven and earth. However, after the true energy and righteous energy enter a person's body, it still needs to be guided and helped by people from the invisible world to exert its function. Only then can one understand the mysteries of the human body, and what it means to live and die, to be rich and noble, to live long, to understand truth, and to accumulate virtue.
My entry into seclusion was unintentional; there was no ceremony involved, and it was entirely unpredictable. As for food, I relied on…True Heaven PalaceWith the guidance of the two abbots, there was no ceremony upon exiting the retreat, nor was there any waiting for anyone to receive him. The unseen beings instructed him to silently exit the retreat on his own.
After I emerged from the retreat, I had some doubts. Perhaps I had some psychological issues; how could such a miraculous arrangement happen, leading to such a wondrous encounter? During the retreat, I was taught that healing people involves using one's hands to cure all ailments. For example, simply pressing on a patient's back reveals the cause of the illness. Then, transmitting true qi to the patient, pressing or following the flow of qi, comparing sensations, or even speaking can heal. This was simply too miraculous for me to believe, and I dared not mention the retreat to my friends after returning home.
One day, a senior student from the Yuanji school visited me and mentioned a practice called "Longevity Studies." He said its healing method was unique, utilizing cosmic energy to guide it into the body, healing through the human form. This piqued my curiosity, so I enrolled to learn it. After nine days of experience, progressing through the beginner, intermediate, and advanced classes, I gained a basic understanding of Longevity Studies' unique healing methods. Indeed, many wondrous things exist in this universe. If those with a willing heart and those from the unseen realm can cooperate, they can certainly benefit all things—this is what is meant by the unity of man and spirit, where nothing is impossible.
After completing my study of longevity, I became certain that what I learned during my seclusion could be applied to society, helping those in the invisible realm to benefit humanity, achieving a harmonious coexistence between humans and gods, and bringing more peace and tranquility to society. One day, while teaching Yuanji Qigong in the park, a student experienced such severe foot pain that she couldn't move. I suggested she try it to see if it would work! I pressed and compared my feet, and wow! They were actually healed! It was truly incredible, and it further strengthened my resolve. From then on, I would help students with any problems they encountered.
IV. Explanation of the Connection
Yuanfuyuan originated in 2000 when a group of classmates and I jointly studied the issues of physical health and smooth meridians. At that time, we simply explored various schools of qigong and health techniques, combining different methods of self-cultivation to train our bodies. Later, someone suggested that since everyone was interested in practicing physical and mental exercises, why not promote it to all levels of society so that everyone could participate together?
Then they thought that since it was a group, it should have a name to facilitate identification and participation, and to make it more concrete to implement. So the students offered each other suggestions and came up with names that they thought were feasible. In the end, everyone chose "Yuanfu".
After Yuanfu was chosen, one day, an invisible person came and bestowed upon him the following words: "Heaven bestows blessings, our family is blessed, the five blessings descend upon our door, our family is blessed." He also bestowed upon him a set of exercises that can smooth the meridians, improve physical condition, and greatly transform one's thoughts and concepts.
Therefore, the students reached a greater consensus and increased outdoor teaching and discussions. "Yuanfu" became our motto, and the several sets of exercises were called "Yuanfu Gong," and we are the "Yuanfu people."
May we all cultivate together to become blessed individuals and fulfill our greater potential as human beings.
